Change to 2021 constitution
The following change was adopted by a majority vote at the AGM on 23rd October 2024 and the 2021 constitution will be amended accordingly.
Clause 16.8 in the 2021 constitution reads:
No-one may hold any specific officer position or be an ordinary (non-officer) trustee for a continuous period in excess of 3 years without an interval of at least 1 year between the periods of service.
Clause 16.8 now reads:
a) No-one may hold any specific officer position or be an ordinary (non- officer) trustee for a continuous period in excess of 3 years without an interval of at least 1 year between the periods of service.
b) If insufficient nominations are received to fill the vacancies for Officers and/or Committee members, a majority decision can be taken by the Committee to ask the retiring officer(s)/member(s) to remain in post until the next AGM.
