Groups

Members share their interests with other members in small groups. These are open to all members of our u3a, subject to there being spaces. If a group becomes full we will try and set up another similar group. Groups are led by volunteers known as Conveners. There may be a small fee to attend a group to cover expenses such as room hire.

We regularly form new groups and welcome suggestions. If you have a particular skill or interest please offer to help start a new group. We often set up Bitesize groups, initially for new members, to gauge interest. If there is sufficient interest these become permanent groups, open to all members.

Visitors are welcome to attend a ‘taster’ session at any of our available interest groups, subject to there being a vacancy, and no fee will be charged. However, those who wish to attend further sessions will need to become members of Palmers Green & Southgate U3A before joining the group. If you wish to have a 'taster' session, then please click on the group that you are interested in order to send a message to the Convener, with the name of the group as the subject.
