Our Advanced French Group is primarily a conversation group. The conversation is usually supported by a shared text with questions sent round by email a few days before each meeting. Our group usually consists of about 6-8 people and we are very lucky to have a fluent French speaker, Viv Finer, formerly a teacher of French who leads the linguistic side of the group and I do the admin. We are a friendly bunch and welcome new members but of course you will need to sit in for a session or two to see if you can understand and respond to things in French!
If you feel you would like to join us please get in touch and if you find it too difficult there is an intermediate group which you can join or indeed you can go to both groups if you have the time. They meet on the second and fourth Mondays. They cover more grammar than we do.
