Convener:
When: On Monday mornings
Usually 1st Monday Monthly
Venue: Varies - TBA

If you enjoy gardens or gardening why not join our gardening group ?
We meet in the first week of the month - usually the first Monday morning but try to be flexible on occasion to tie in with garden open days .

Our long-standing group leader has resigned to set up a new group and we are in the process of finding someone to step up ! Meanwhile the Garden Convener link above remains live and our group administrator will respond to any queries so please don’t hesitate to contact us .

In line with the U3A philosophy we are all encouraged to participate in different ways and new ideas are always welcome.

We are not professional gardeners but interested amateurs who enjoy our own gardens and visiting and learning about other gardens for inspiration and pleasure . Some of us are hands on gardeners others employ a gardener. We may have a window box, a patio or a ‘100 footer’ .

Our programme balances visits to gardens - locally and further afield - speakers who can help us to learn more about gardening or share their specialist knowledge - visits to garden centres - especially those with a good cafe ! and social meetings to enjoy each others company and ask each others advice.

If you think you may be interested in becoming a member of the group please use the Gardening Convenor link at the head of the page to send us a message and we will get back to you .
